The Summary page of a vCenter cluster with active alarms might intermittently flicker

Issue/Introduction

In the vSphere Client, when you click on the Summary tab of a vCenter cluster that has active alarms, the page intermittently flickers. 

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 8.0.x

Cause

The issue occurs because the vSphere Client monitors changes on the child objects of the cluster, including alarms, and takes a while to refresh.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in releases below:
VMware vCenter Server 8.0 Update 3h
VMware vCenter Server 9.0.0
