Issue/Introduction

When attempting to delete an IP space in VMware Cloud Director an error is returned of:
Internal Server Error

Following the stack trace in the /opt/vmware/vcloud-director/logs/vcloud-container-debug.log the later portions reveal that the associated T0 does not exist in NSX-T:
Tier 0 Router ############# not found in NSX-T Manager ##########################

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x

Cause

NSX components for the tenant in VMware Cloud Director were deleted directly in NSX instead of through VMware Cloud Director.

Resolution

Attempt deletion of components through the API first. If that fails please open a support request with a database backup and log bundle referencing this knowledge article. Please see the API documentation for reference:

Delete Ip Space Uplink
Delete Ip Space Org Assignment
Delete Ip Space
If wanted or necessary use Delete External Network as well if the others fail. This command has a force option to ignore errors.
