Allow Time Entry for Unstaffed Resources: An effort task is created even if a task already exists

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Classic PPM > Administration > Project Management > Settings > Allow Effort Task Creation (Ensure this is unchecked)
2. Classic PPM > Administration > Studio > Objects > Create a MUX investment
3. In MUX > Investments > Create a new investment instance and set it as Open for Time Entry and enable the "Allow Time Entry for Unstaffed Resources" checkbox
4. Edit the instance > Tasks tab > Create a new task and Open it for Time Entry
5. Go to Timesheets and select any resource that has timesheets enabled.
6. Click on Add Tasks > Select Tasks and remove the filter value from Selected Resources field
7. Notice that the investment and task created in Steps 3 and 4 is displayed
8. Select the task, enter time and post the timesheet
9. Once timesheet is posted, go back to the Custom Investment Tasks tab
10. Notice an effort task has been created

Expected Results: No effort task should have been created as a task already exists
Actual Results: An effort tasks has been created regardless of a task already exists

Frictionless Time: Create Timesheets without Staff or Assignments on Investments

When you enable the Allow Time Entry for Unstaffed Resources field in the Investment workspace, you can create and post a timesheet without assigning Staff or Assignments for Investments.

Impact of enabling the "Allow Time Entry for Unstaffed Resources" field:

An effort task is automatically created if no existing tasks are present. If tasks already exist, no new effort tasks will be created. Additional tasks may also be created along with the effort task if required.

You do not need to be allocated to the Staff module for this investment instance, nor do you need any assignments. But, you will have the Investment (and task) available for time entry purposes in Timesheets.
