Want to replace NVRAM file of an existing VM with a VM template

Environment

vCenter 8.x

Resolution

Replacing  NVRAM file with a template is not recommended, unless instructed to do so by engineering as documented in the following document Virtual Machine Files. Doing so can cause VMs to crash due to discrepancies between the VMX and the NVRAM file
