Agent on Windows 11 25H2 appears as classified as Windows 10

Issue/Introduction

An Agent installed on Windows 11 25H2 machine is classified with OS Windows 10

In DSM Explorer the OS is Windows 10 (instead Windows 11) :

Environment

Client Automation 14.5 CU7

Cause

OSConfig.xml file does not contain the build number for Windows 11 25H2 (26200)

Resolution

This problem is resolved in version 14.6. File OSConfig.xml 14.6 contains the build number for Windows 11 25H2 (26200)

As solution we could :

• Upgrade the Agent to version 14.6

or

• Copy the file OSConfig.xml from 14.6 to the agent 
  

  1- caf stop

  2- Rename the file 
  C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\DSM\Agent\OSConfig.xml as OSConfig.xml.old

  3- Copy the file OSConfig.xml from version 14.6 into C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\DSM\Agent
  
  4- caf start
