Issue/Introduction

Problem:

Executing CA Rapid Reorg for DB2 for z/OS (PRR) attempting to dynamically allocate online reorg RID data sets and encountering the following:

PRR9035I - SVC 99 Error Return Code: 004 S99ERROR: 970C
S99INFO: 0000 Module: RRA$DYN3
PRR9036I - SVC 99 error S99EERR: 0000 S99EINFO: 0000
S99ERSN: 000003F3 Module: RRA$DYN3

PRR9037I - < ALLOCATED+ >
PRR9037I - < IGD01011I DATA SET ALLOCATION REQUEST FAILED - >
PRR9037I - < ACS DATACLAS ROUTINE RETURNED >
PRR9037I - < WHICH DOES NOT EXIST >

PRR0284E - Dynamic Allocation: Process failed in CSECT RRA$DYN2
Detected in module RRA$DYN

POR0003E - NO RID work dataset ddnames (RIDNNNN) found

Workaround:

Per ACS services reason codes documentation under z/OS DFSMSdfp Diagnosis:
1011 (X'03F3') A nonexistent SMS class was returned

Site modified hlq.CDBAPARM PRR member setting PRR-SMS (Y) to PRR-SMS (N) which
allowed the hlq of the data set to control the allocation which appears to bypass the problem.
