In Spectrum, after a Proxy model is taken out of Maintenance Mode it is no longer a Proxy model

This is Spectrum Functioning as Designed. Proxy models were not designed to be placed into Maintenance mode.

When a model is taken out of Maintenance Mode, the isEventCreationEnabled attribute is set to Yes

Hence, when a proxy model is taken out of Maintenance Mode, its isEventCreationEnabled attribute is set to Yes and therefore, no longer a proxy model.
