Alerts are getting updated in cache - Connector accelerator

Issue/Introduction

Even after restarting connector accelerator alerts are updating in cache and not reaching O2

 

Cause

Sitescope is reusing the alert keys as it does not have unique keys.  The current way to fix this is in the connaccel-config.xml.  In O2, the alert key has to be unique.  Therefore the alert key property has to be set to false .

Resolution

By changing the line in the connaccel-config.xml (and restarting the connector after the change)

<Normalize evtsource="sitescope" name="GLOBAL" >

to

<Normalize evtsource="sitescope" name="GLOBAL" usealertkey="false" >

the alerts were no longer cached and being pushed through to O2 with a unique alert ID
