Error in UI when attempting to access VM's Inventory "getCountsByRelationship failed: resourceKindName cannot be null"

Issue/Introduction

When navigating to the Virtual Machine Inventory within the Aria Operations UI, users encounter a persistent error that prevents the display of VM data.

The Aria Operations UI returns the following error: "getCountsByRelationship failed: resourceKindName cannot be null"

Error messages in logs: logs/view-bridge.log
ERROR [ServerConnection on port 10000 Thread #####] com.vmware.vcops.bridge.content.server.util.exception.PlatformExceptionAspect.handlePlatformResult - PlatformInterface.getCountsByRelationship(..) returned with failure: getCountsByRelationship failed: resourceKindName cannot be null.

Resolution

The fix for this issue will be included in Aria Operations version 8.18.6
