Issue/Introduction

Introduction: 

We are seeing these errors while creating the indexes for wcc: 

ORA-01450: maximum key length (3118) exceeded 

 

Question: 

While trying to start WCC.  I can login into the WCC server but it is completly blank.

I saw in the wcc-log that an index could not be created.  The following error message

was displayed:

ORA-01450: maximum key length (3118) exceeded 

 

 

Environment:  

11.3.X WCC and above

 

Answer: 

Have a DBA raise the block size from 4KB to 8KB in the schema tablespaces being used by WCC DB. 

You should be able to start wcc and the indexes built correctly.
