How to increase TSO REGION SIZE to resolve Endevor foreground IEW4000I FETCH error

Issue/Introduction

IEW4000I FETCH and CSV028I ABEND106-0C received during an Endevor foreground Package Cast that contains a large amount of elements.

There is a need to have a larger TSO REGION SIZE - how can this be done

Resolution

An Endevor CLIST/REXX cannot directly change the TSO region size during a logon session's initiation, as the region size is typically determined at the time the TSO session is started (via the TSO logon procedure or the logon panel "Size" parameter).  The Endevor CLIST runs after the allocation of the initial TSO session.  The default REGION SIZE in foreground will be determined by each TSO users profile. 

There are two options for changing the TSO REGION SIZE.  

1) An administrator can set the default (SIZE) and maximum (MAXSIZE) region for a user in their RACF/ACF2/Top Secret profile.  

2) When the TSO logon screen appears, locate the "Size" or "Region Size" field and enter a value (e.g., 32000 for 32MB). The system administrator sets the maximum allowed size you can request this way.
