Rally Sandbox use for Clarity integration testing

Issue/Introduction

You are looking to test Clarity on a lower environment by integrating it with Rally Sandbox workspace

Environment

Clarity 16.4.0 with Rally SAAS

Resolution

• Currently this is not possible due to Rally Sandbox limitations
• Rally Sandbox does not support API requests as described here and API key is needed for the integration
• Basic Auth will work to connect initially to Rally Sandbox but the Rally Sync jobs will not be able to work correctly and run the update requests
• Broadcom Support recommends to create a "Test" workspace in Rally Prod
  • Use a new or specific integration user that has only workspace admin rights to that specific workspace.
  • Set up the integration to Clarity and then you can run any tests and validations there
