Local users are not retained after HCX upgrade

Issue/Introduction

The local users created on HCX appliance were not present after the HCX upgrade.

These users were created on HCX appliance using 'useradd' command. 

 

 

Environment

VMware HCX 

Cause

The observed behavior is expected as the creation of local users on HCX appliance is not supported. 

Resolution

 Instead of creating local users, customers should use VCF SSO users to manage HCX environment.
