Unable to configure IPv6 proxy via vCenter Server VAMI

Issue/Introduction
- When attempting to configure a proxy using an IPv6 address in the vCenter Server Management Interface (VAMI), the operation fails with the "Cannot connect to proxy server." error.

Cause
The issue is caused by the IPv6 address being incorrectly parsed when configuring the proxy via the VAMI.
As a result, the connection test fails.
Resolution
Broadcom engineering are aware of this issue and are currently working on a solution.
Workaround:
Use one of the following workarounds.
- Use an IPv4 address or FQDN for the proxy server URL when configuring through the VAMI.
