Issue/Introduction

When loading and accessing jobs in the ESP Workload Automation Workstation client (Workload Director), everything functions correctly until opening the "custom view" window (e.g. Waiting window).

If there are any jobs in the Waiting state, and the user can see it trying to  load them (the window shows the "Waiting ## Jobs" message with the number of waiting jobs) but then the entire Workload Director software closes.

The waiting jobs in the Graph window are displayed correctly.

Environment

ESP Workload Automation Workstation client Version 11.3, Build 111 

Cause

A known bug with "custom view" blank fields.

Resolution

Older ESP Workload Automation Workstation client builds had this type of bug.

ESP Workload Automation Workstation client build 117 or later solves this bug by issuing a message rather than to close the Workload Director. So the solution is to update the ESP Workload Automation Workstation client build to 117 or later.

Here is a workaround how to solve the bug in the older ESP Workload Automation Workstation client builds.

1. go to the Workload Director and do not subscribe to anything!
2. edit the "custom view" definition by clicking on the definition by right mouse button and choose Change Definition
3. here is needed to delete the empty fields on the bottom of the Selected Fields area (resp. move them to the left side). See the example on the attached picture
