VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x
A stale entry for a deleted temporary VM snapshot is present in the VMware Cloud Director database. This issue usually happens when using backup solutions (i.e. Veeam) for taking and deleting VM snapshots.
Try deleting the VM snapshot via API
"DELETE https://{api_host}/cloudapi/1.0.0/vm/{vmUrn}/snapshots/{snapshotId}"https://cloud.example.com/tenant/Org-NAME/vdcs/########-####-####-########a47e/vapp/vapp-########-####-####-########a0e8/vcd-vapp-vms/vm-########-####-####-########75a5/snapshotsurn:vcloud:vm:ID" where the ID value to be entered is the one from the step 3b.urn:vcloud:vm:########-####-####-########75a5
d. The snapshotId value to be entered can be found running the APIGET https://{api_host}/cloudapi/1.0.0/vm/{vmUrn}/snapshots
From API Explorer:If it is not possible to delete the VM snapshot via API, the workaround for this issue requires modification of the Cloud Director database.
