DB Service jobs stuck in 'Resolving variables'

Issue/Introduction

Jobs using an SQL VARA are getting stuck mid-process. The job status shows: 'Resolving variables' or ' 'Waiting for continuation of variable resolving' and is not progressing further.

The Report LOG shows:

U00054518 Task with RunID '0733277014' will be restarted as soon as a DB Service Agent is active again or the previous error is corrected.

In the meantime, the DB Service was actually up and running.

This happens for SQL VARAs jobs that take more than 30 seconds to resolve. 

Environment

AE v24 with DB Service Agent v24

Cause

This is a configuration issue that can happen on systems of which the system name has been changed. 

Resolution

In client 0, find the SERV objects that still have the old system name and delete these.
