Unable to update the Auto-allocated attribute in NSX UI for T1/T0 Gateways

Issue/Introduction

There is no Auto Allocation Edge Option in NSX UI (Manager Mode) when updating a T0/T1. 

However, in Policy mode, the Auto Allocation Edges option is available. 

Environment

VMware NSX 

Cause

Informational KB only. The behavior is by design. 

Resolution

It's recommended to use policy mode to create/update T0/T1 in the NSX UI; however, for a legacy environment, updating the T0/T1 created in manager mode will enable Auto Allocation options by default.
