Issue/Introduction

Unable to resolve dependencies on RHEL 8/9 for DLP 25.1 

Environment

RHEL 8.x/9.x

DLP 25.1 and above 

Cause

when trying to get any depenedencies to install 25.1 the following error is returned when using subscription-manager 

Unknown server reply (HTTP error code 400: Bad Request):

<center>The SSL certificate error</center><13>
<hr><center>openresty</center><13>

Resolution

run the following commands to clear out the offending client certificate in the cache

subscription-manager clean
subscription-manager register 
yum update

After re registering the RHEL system you should be able to download updates and dependencies from RHEL network.

Additional Information

invalid or expired client certificate registered to subscription manager.
