Issue/Introduction

In order to plan and avoid any disruptions and to meet compliance of the relevant solution in DX ecosystem, we require future-proof recommendations from Broadcom:

Resolution

Investigation is in progress. There is another NGINX controller and it is the best candidate to replace the current one. But we need to verify that everything is working as expected (some ingresses are using annotations to customize timeouts, packet size, etc.) before sharing steps with customers.

The existing ingress will continue being maintained until March 2026, and we are targeting to have an alternate solution for customers by that time, the existing k8s ingress will continue working as-is, even after that date; just that ingress updates for that product (ingress nginx) will no longer be generated.

We will publish a public document when all processes are done with the official suggestion.
