How to change the date format in OneClick WebApp to German format

Issue/Introduction

We used to customize the $SPECROOT/webtomcat/webswing/webswing.config file in Spectrum 24.3.10 to display the date in German format.

But in Spectrum 25.4.3 we no longer have the "vmArgs" parameter in the $SPECROOT/webtomcat/webswing/webswing.config file.

Environment

DX NetOps Spectrum 24.3.11 and above

Cause

In DX NetOps Spectrum 24.3.11 onwards we enhanced for Supporting Webswing Cluster Setup, hence there are new configuration files:

• $SPECROOT/webtomcat/bin/webswing-app.config
• $SPECROOT/webtomcat/bin/webswing-sessionpool.properties

And the "vmArgs" parameter was moved from the $SPECROOT/webtomcat/webswing/webswing.config file to the $SPECROOT/webtomcat/bin/webswing-app.config file.

Resolution

Edit the $SPECROOT/webtomcat/webswing/webswing.config file and add the desired parameter:

-Duser.country=DE -Duser.language=de

Stop/start the WebTomcat service ($SPECROOT/webtomcat/bin/stopWebTomcat.sh and startWebTomcat.sh in Linux) to put the change in place.
