Issue/Introduction

The WSS agent is unable to establish a connection to ctc.threatpulse.com.
The user reported that the internet is not working.

WSS Agent Support logs shows following error

CTC failed (ec: 12175 - A Security error occured)

Cause

An intermediate device is performing SSL inspection on traffic to the ctc.threatpulse.com domain.

 

Resolution

Disable SSL inspection for ctc.threatpulse.com traffic on the third-party device.
