APM agent metrics disappear after selecting OI universes

Issue/Introduction

When we select ENTERPRISE we see all expected metrics, when we select an OI or Platform universe only a few metrics are displayed, for example JMX, Garbage Collectors, NIO metrics disappear. 

 

Environment

DX O2 25.1

Cause

This is a current limitation in DX O2 25.1 and lower

Resolution

1) Upgrade to the latest Agent version

• For SaaS customers:

 Upgrade Agents to latest 26.1 version

• For 25.1 OnPremise customers:

 Upgrade to upcoming 26.1 (server side) + Agents v26

2) Ensure to update the "APM OI" Management as per Techdocs requirement

For example, ensure .*nio, .*JMX, .*Garbage Collectors new entries are added.

3) If you are using attributes tagging: ensure to include the respective regexp to include both App and Infra Layers
