API Developer Portal Version 5.4
Upgrading the Gateway on Existing Proxies
Ensure the following steps are completed prior to upgrading your API proxies (Gateways) to version 11.2 or newer:
-
- Use Rate and Quota Policy Template v2.0.7 or Newer
If you are using the Portal's Rate and Quota Policy Template, you
MUST
ensure that the version of the template deployed to your Proxies (Gateways) is version
2.0.7
or newer. This ensures that
Evaluate JSON Expression (V2)
and the latest component libraries are used.
-
Use the Latest OTK Version
Ensure that
OTK is running version
or newer. If you are unable to upgrade from an older version of the OTK, contact Broadcom Support.
-
Check the Portal Integration Bundle Installed On Your Proxies
If your current integration bundle is older than
UTC.20251021.1200.00
, you must
run an update script before updating the integration bundle.
The script updates the proxy's trusted certificate from PSSG to APIM to enable mutual authentication between the proxy and Portal (version 5.4 or newer) when updating the Portal Integration bundle. This is also a prerequisite step to ensure that the PSSG and DSSG legacy components are removed from the Portal.
-
Update your Portal Integration Software On Your Proxies
Installing the Portal Integration bundle associated with Portal 5.4 GA (i.e.,
UTC.20251021.1200.00
or newer) shall replace the assertion,
Evaluate JSON Path Expression (V1)
with
.
