The error message says to check the DAIO statement in the initialization file. The SCRTRK/SWFTRK parameter may need to be increased.

Client already had SWFTRK=255 (maximum)

Cause:

The DAIO statement had DASD=3380 when actually 3390s were in use. With DASD=3380, the 'whole' track is not being utilized by CA 7 for writing/sorting the output from the command--7 is currently utilizing the 3390 as if it was a 3380 which has less room on each track.

Resolution:

Change the DAIO statement DASD= to 3390.  A DMPQ/MOVQ process for shutting down and starting CA7ONL is required.

Additional Information:

As always, please contact CA Technologies support for CA 7 if you have further questions.
