Exporting Report Designer and Data Providers in Modern UX

Issue/Introduction

The New Reporting workspace in Clarity Modern UX provides the capability to export  'Report Design' and 'Report Design and Data Provider'

Clarity 16.4.0

Resolution

To use the export feature, first enable the Export functionality in the Modern UX - Administration - 'Actions' page.

Then go the Modern UX  Reporting workspace and click on the 'Report Designer' link to open the page.

The Report Designer instance that you wish to publish must have a 'Published' status. In order words you must have already published a report from it.

Also add the 'Migration Key' column to the page and enter a unique number value.

After this, click and select the checkbox next to 'Name' column. The 'Export' button with dropdown appear on the top of the page with 'Report Design' and 'Report Design and Data Provider' options.
