Issue/Introduction

The error will appear on vSphere Web Client:

"The specified delta disk format 'nativeFormat' is not supported."

Powering on the virtual machine directly on vCenter (without Citrix) will work normally.

 

 

Environment

vCenter Server Appliance 8.0.x

ESXi hosts 8.0.x

Citrix

Cause

Issue is related to third party vendor: Citrix

Resolution

Contact your Citrix vendor to work on the resolution or workaround.

Additional Information

Possible workaround is to remove / recreate the VM on Citrix.
