The Cluster Health – vSAN Disk Balance check reports a warning or error state indicating that disk usage across capacity-tier disks in the vSAN cluster is uneven. This means one or more disks are significantly more utilized than others, exceeding the configured load variance threshold.

The issue is caused by uneven data distribution across capacity-tier disks in the vSAN cluster. This can occur when:
Automatic rebalance is not enabled.
Disks are on different on-disk format versions.
Disks are approaching full capacity, limiting vSAN’s ability to rebalance data.
Automatic rebalance is provided, however is not enabled by default, the user just needs to click the button 'Configure Automatic Rebalance', and it will redirect to the UI for automatic rebalance configuration. Once it's enabled, vSAN will take care of balancing the cluster.
