Introduction: 

How to remove/uninstall 4.5 Autosys agents

Question: 

Upgrading to a newer release of Autosys.  I want to remove ALL 4.5 agents from unix and windows machines. Is there a way to remove them silently from all my machines?

Environment:  

Unix, Linux, Windows 4.5 Autosys agents

Answer: 

Unix: There is no silent uninstall for 4.5 Agents. However, I you can do the following on 4.5 agent machines: 

lsm -e UnicenterAutoSysJM-ORA 

Windows: There is no silent uninstall.  You must manually use Add,Remove programs at the Windows Control Panel to remove the agent

Additional Information:

In newer versions of Autosys you can remove it silently.

Example Windows:

setup.exe /s /f1"remove.iss"

The remove.iss file is located in the DVD_drive\EWA\AutoSys\remove.iss directory.
