I'm installing Pan/SQL for ACF2 CIA Reporting and the IJ3STGE1 job fails in the pre-compile step with error 'DSNH104I E DSNHPARS LINE 5271 COL 31 ILLEGAL SYMBOL "PRIVATE".' How can this error be addressed?

I'm installing Pan/SQL for ACF2 CIA Reporting and the IJ3STGE1 job fails in the pre-compile step with error 'DSNH104I E DSNHPARS LINE 5271 COL 31 ILLEGAL SYMBOL "PRIVATE".' How can this error be addressed?

Resolution

DB2 10.2 no longer supports the syntax SQL RELEASE ALL PRIVATE. PTF RO20082

addresses the 'DSNH104I' error.

 

PTF PROBLEM  DESCRIPTION:  An RC=8 in step DB2COMP of install

job IJ3STGE1 with DB2 v10, with accompanying DB2 Pre-compiler 

error  message:      

 

DSNH104I E DSNHPARS ILLEGAL SYMBOL "PRIVATE". SOME SYMBOLS THAT 

MIGHT BE LEGAL ARE: <END-OF-STATEMENT> SQL                                                      

                                                         

IBM no longer supports the syntax SQL RELEASE ALL PRIVATE.                                                 

                                                         

 

SYMPTOMS:  Return code 0008 in Step DB2COMP in Install job IJ3STGE1.
