Renewing VCF Operations for Networks certificates in vLCM fails with error: Could not find virtual machine with address aria-networks-platform in vCenter

Issue/Introduction

• From within vLCM, the certificate replacement process is used to renew the certificates for the VCF Operations for Networks Platform and Collector VMs.
• It fails on the Precheck step with errors for the Platform and Collector:
  
  Could not find virtual machine with address aria-networks-platform in vCenter

Could not find virtual machine with address aria-networks-collector in vCenter
  
  
• From vLCM an inventory resync is completed but the issue persists.
• The vCenter and ESX details in vLCM for the Platform and Collector do not match their current location. These details can be obtained from the following location.
  
  vLCM UI > Environment > Networks > VMware Aria Operations for Networks Collector/Platform Node

Environment

VMware VCF Operations for Networks
VMware Lifecycle Manager 

Resolution

1. Migrate the Platform and Collector back to the original vCenter and ESX so that it matches the configuration in vLCM.
2. Replace the certificates.
