1. Check the NAS Activity Log (Primary Method)
The NAS (Nimsoft Alarm Server) probe processes alarms and triggers actions (like sending emails) via Auto-Operator (AO) profiles. You can monitor its activity log to confirm if the email action was initiated.
- In the Infrastructure Manager (IM), navigate to the nas probe on the primary hub.
- Right-click the nas probe and select Status.
- In the Status dialog, click on Show Activity Log.
- In the resulting dialog, select a relevant time period and check the Enable Activity Log checkbox to view the entries.
- Look for messages with the subject "EMAIL" in the log. This indicates that the NAS AO profile matched an alarm and sent a message to the email gateway for processing.
