Analyzer returns no results for one or more members

Issue/Introduction

You have created a view in the Analyzer that returns results for some members of a dimension, but not all. Instead of displaying a measure of 0, 'None', or 'Null', the member itself is missing from the view while other members of the same dimension are displayed with their corresponding measures.

Resolution

All versions of Information Centric Analytics (ICA) through 6.6 MP2 do not display a measure for members that return an empty set.

Beginning with version 6.7, you can force the Analyzer to display all members of a dimension including those that return an empty set by right-clicking in the Analyzer on the displayed rows or columns and selecting Show Empty Members.

A new Show Empty Members option forces the Analyzer to display all records; not just those with data. This results in:

• Analyzer contains significantly more fields.
• Allows a user to create Risk Vectors off of fields that might not have data reporting for the time period selected.
