HCX Adding Cloud Director Organization Site pairing overwrite the original Site Pairing URL (VCD)

Issue/Introduction

• You have successfully registered a VCD (VMware Cloud Director) Site pairing using https://hcx-cloud-ip-or-fqdn/org/<orgname>
• When registering a new Cloud Director Organization using https://hcx-cloud-ip-or-fqdn/org/<orgname>, the Site URL from the original site pairing was overridden instead of a new site pairing being registered.

VMware Cloud Director

Cause

The site pairing was incorrectly registered as https://hcx-cloud-ip-or-fqdn/org/<orgname>.

Resolution

When registering a Cloud Director Organization as the HCX destination endpoint, the Site URL refers to the HCX Cloud system with a suffix referencing the Org:
https://hcx-cloud-ip-or-fqdn/cloud/org/<orgname>

Note: The correct URL format must include /cloud/org/ .
