• Error message seen as below:

IO Exception occurred while performing the operation. Check the logs for more information.
Unexpected ioexception occurred.

Environment

VCF Operations or Networks 6.14.1

Cause

vCenter Server's datastore details are missing from deployment options.

Resolution

To fix this any one of below mentioned options can be attempted:

1. Retry or redeploy Aria Operations for Networks via VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle (VRSLCM) using fresh workflow with correct information about the datasource to be used during the deployment.

Alternatively below 2 options can be exercised as well.

1. Complete deployment outside of VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle i.e. using OVF Deployment of Aria Operations for Networks using vCenter, refer to documentation Single Click offline upgrade
2. Once deployment is completed, use the import feature in VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle to import the newly deployed AON component, refer to Import a VMware Aria Operations for Networks environment
