Issue/Introduction

The Admin Console, IM, and OC logons have all suddenly stopped working for all LDAP users.

Example:

  1. OC logon displays 'Invalid credentials' while logging in
  2. In some cases, the login is successful, but the OC page goes blank immediately afterward.

Error captured in the hub log

hub: login [LDAP] - auth (ldap_simple_bind_s) failed: 'Server Down' (81)

Resolution

This issue occurs when LDAP connectivity problems are present with the LDAP server name configured in the hub probe LDAP settings. To identify the root cause, please engage the respective team to diagnose the underlying connectivity issue.
