Issue/Introduction

Logging for route-based IPsec VPNs cannot be enabled via the "Edit IPsec VPN Tunnel" settings in VMware Cloud Director. (Path: Edge Gateways > Services > IPsec VPN > Edit)

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x

Cause

Logging functionality for route-based IPsec VPNs has not been implemented in the current version of VMware Cloud Director (VCD).

Resolution

Currently, there is no direct solution to enable native logging for route-based IPsec VPNs in VCD.
