There is a requirement to know if vCenter 9.0 can manage ESXi 8.0x hosts and also whether it is fine to keep ESXi 9.0x and ESXi 8.0x hosts together in the same cluster.

ESXi Server 9.0x

Resolution

• vCenter 9.0 can manage ESX version 8.0 hosts in the same cluster with ESX 9.0 hosts
