Support status of two-arm topology for NSX ALB in vSphere Supervisor Networking

Issue/Introduction

This article provides information regarding the support status for using NSX ALB (Advanced Load Balancer) in a two-arm network topology for the Supervisor Networking.

Environment

vSphere Supervisor

Resolution

Currently, the two-arm configuration is not supported for vSphere Supervisor networking. The one-arm configuration is the only supported topology for NSX ALB.

Additional Information

As stated in the following article, the current implementation of vSphere Supervisor is designed to operate in one-arm mode, where load balancer traffic is expected to be routed to the gateway. For more information, please refer to Topology for Supervisor with VDS Networking and Avi Load Balancer.
