Export and Import TDM classifiers

Issue/Introduction

We have created classifiers in the TDM Portal deployed in one of the environments.

Is there an option to export the classifier for importing it to another environment?

Resolution

You can export and import classifier pack using project export option. Please follow below steps:

• Log into the CA Test Data Manager portal.
• In the left pane, go to Configuration >  Configuration Deployment
• . The Configuration Deployment page appears, on which you can see a list of available projects.
• Click Export
• . The Export Project page appears.
• Select the desired project to be exported. You can also use the search box to search for a specific project.
• Click Next
• . The Export Project page now asks you to select the project versions you want to export.
• Select the desired project versions.
• In next page, you have an option to choose classifiers. Follow all the steps to complete the project export which includes classifiers pack.
