Unable to change DNS server of SSP appliance

Issue/Introduction

When trying to change the DNS server on SSP the following error is observed:

localhost(config)# no dns name-server
Aborted: application protocol error
Error: failed to apply modifications

Cause

This error will occur if DHCP is enabled

Resolution

Disable DHCP and then update then the DNS server can be updated.
