NSX Native Load Balancer nginx message queue error

Issue/Introduction

• The Load Balancer L4 virtual server is configured.
• The NSX Native Load Balancer diagnosis output shows an nginx message queue error.

Environment

VMware NSX-T Data Center.

Cause

During the reconfiguration, as old L4CP workers process quits and new L4CP workers take ownership of L4 traffic, some errors may be generated as the same L4CP worker does not handle the same connections. It is just recorded into the error counter, but has no impact on the customer's service.

Resolution

These "nginx message queue error" has no impact on the L4 service.

Additional Information

kni -lrport-0_tx_drops is a counter shared by different services. The traffic of the L7 virtual server goes through this interface. If there is no L7 virtual server in the setup, this drop counter should be caused by other services.
