Issue/Introduction

The SAP jobs are not running, and users see  the below error

Not Connected - Exception BAPI_XMI_LOGON: No RFC authorisation for function module RFC_METADATA_GET.
Error: failed to log on to SAP. <No RFC authorization for function module RFC_METADATA_GET.>

 

 

Environment

Workload Automation Agent: 12.0 or above

Cause

The error is originating from the SAP side. 
 

Resolution

Check what changed on the SAP side. 
 
Consult your SAP admin to make sure the SAP user (SOME_USER) has RFC_METADATA_GET and RFC_METADATA authorization.
