Resolution

To copy or move an Applications Manager Automation Engine and database to the same machine or to an existing machine where Applications Manager has been installed previously.

The key steps in the procedure are:

  • Create the Applications Manager Oracle user
  • Import the data to the target machine
  • Run the SQL updates
  • Run the Applications Manager installation procedure
  • Copy the Applications Manager support files to the target instance.

Each step is described in detail in the documentation below.

https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/intelligent-automation/applications-manager/9-6-2/Administration_Guide/Copying_and_Moving_Applications_Manager_Instances/Copying_or_Moving_an_Automation_Engine_Database_to_an_Existing_Machine.html

Note:
Follow the documented method ( AM export/import or Oracle export/Import) to achieve this, instead of using a DB replication tools.
Broadcom will be assisting in resolving issues if an error is received following the documented procedure.
