Question MySQL 8.0 support beyond April 2026 and upgrade

Issue/Introduction

MySQL 8.0 is EOL in April 2026. We have upgraded in September some API GTWs and they still have the MySQL 8.0.

The newest version, released on 28th Nov, brings the MySQL 8.4:

But what about those MySQL DBs in version 11.1.2? Are you planning to release a patch to upgrade to 8.4?

If you we are still running version 11.1.2 beyond April and database is still 8.0 is still supported?

Resolution

Broadcom will continue to support MySQL 8.0 until the expiration of Layer7 version 11.1.2 (on OVA).
