ERROR: drs.migration.error.vmAntiAffinityPolicy within vSphere DRS Faults

Issue/Introduction

You receive the error drs.migration.error.vmAntiAffinityPolicy within vSphere DRS Faults after deploying Security Services Platform worker node VMs. 

• You are able to successfully migrate the VMs between hosts with no issues
• There are no anti-affinity rules configured for these VMs in vCenter

Environment

vCenter 8.x
Security Services Platform 5.0

Cause

There are more Security Service Platform worker node VMs deployed than there are hosts in the cluster. On deployment, internal anti-affinity rules are configured to keep each worker node VM separated. Since there are not enough hosts for all worker node VMs to run on their own host, the error gets triggered. 

Resolution

This is expected behavior and can safely be ignored. The error is informational and does not block DRS or HA operations.
