Network compatibility issues during Advanced Cross vCenter vMotion

Issue/Introduction

If you select the checkbox "Keep VMs on the source vCenter Server (performs a VM clone operation)" in the "Import Virtual Machines" section of Advanced Cross vCenter vMotion, you may encounter a compatibility error in the "Select networks" section.

"Currently connected network interface" 'Network adapter 1' uses network 'DVSwitch: ## ## ## ## ## ## ## ##-## ## ## ## ## ## ## ##', which is not accessible.

The NEXT button appears enabled (blue), but clicking it has no effect.

The VDS version is the same on both the source and destination vCenter Server.
The same issue occurs even when the virtual machine is stopped.

Environment

vCenter Server 8.0

Cause

The port belonging to the source distributed virtual switch does not exist on the destination.

Resolution

Select the proper network in Destination Network, the red-framed portion of the diagram attached to the Issue/Introduction.
