Alarm status not getting updated in the dashboard

Issue/Introduction

Alarm status not getting updated in the dashboard in reasonable time. Alarm is link to dashboard. Status does change, but takes too long. The default time range of the dashboard is 12/24 hours.

It takes status to update in the dashboard when Stat option is set to Total any where between 6/7 to 15/20 minutes. This is without changing the time range.

The requirement is:

dashboard status update around 1 minute once the alarm comes in DX O2.
keeps the alarm up there until alarm clear/close.

Resolution

Suggest the following configuration changes to the dashboard to meet the requirments.

In the panel query add the following to exist query:

AND NOT status:closed AND NOT status:delete

Also, select time range for the dashboard to last 24 hours so that all alarms that meet that criteria show up in the dashboard.
