The credentials for the created Adapter are not displayed, and an error is displayed.

Issue/Introduction

The existing credentials do not appear in the Adapter management console, and the following error is displayed.

"You are viewing this account configuration in read-only mode because you are not the owner of these applied credentials. You will only be able to make changes to the account if you provide your own credentials."

Additionally, attempting to re-register credentials with the same name will result in registration failure with the following error.

"Credential with the same name already exists. Please use a different credential name"

Cause

This is occurring because you lack display permissions for credentials registered by another user.

Resolution

To display credentials registered by other users, you can enable this by disabling the following setting.

Administration -> Global Settings -> System Settings -> Credential ownership enforcement
