• Trying to upgrade MacOS Agents from the console will fail
• If Tamper Protection is disabled from the console the upgrade will complete successfully

Environment

• App Control Server: All Supported Versions
• App Control MacOS Agent: All Supported Versions
• App Control Rules Version: 1.24 and Higher

Cause

Potential Issue with MacOS Agent Rules

Resolution

1. Upgrade to Rules Installer 1.24 and Higher
2. If upgrade still fails when Tamper Protection is enabled create a support case
